When visiting Holland in spring time tulips are a must see! So take this opportunity to admire them in a unique way.

Within 15 minutes we have left the busy city center of Amsterdam behind us, let the fun begin!

Windmills, cows, polder landscapes, dikes, meadows and many colorful tulip fields will take you up north. Your local guide will tell you all about it while the first tulip fields to take some great pictures come up in the famous Beemster polder, Unesco world heritage.
Next up is the legendary Enclosing Dike. Find out why Holland would not be the same without this dike. Climb the watch tower, meet the founder Mr. Lelie, walk across to see the Wadden sea or enjoy a drink and the view.

Next we drive to the other side of the dike, where we enter the province of Friesland. Canals, Frisian horses, windmills, typical farms, tulip fields. Admire it all while the next stop is coming up. A beautiful Frisian town, famous in Holland but yet to be discovered by the world. Stroll through the streets of this hidden gem and take pictures of the beautiful captain’s houses  while one of the locals takes you around.

Next up is another hidden gem; the biggest steam pumping station in the world. This steam cathedral is over 100 years of age and still protects part of the country agains flooding!  Rightfully a UNESCO world heritage site.

Now it’s time for a unique moment: admire, smell and record all the beautiful tulips as you take a walk through the tulip fields. Thousands of colorful tulips, tulip fields as far as the eye can see and just your small group to see it all.

The tulips only bloom for a couple of weeks each spring, so strike a pose, say cheese, and take plenty of pictures.

Once the afternoon draws to a close, it’s time to head back to Amsterdam to enjoy your evening in the city.
